Photothermally modulated magnetic resonance applied to the study of the magnetic phase transition in gadolinium thin films

► TC values increase with thermal treatment and film thickness. ► PM-MR signal amplitude of the main peak is maximum at temperatures close to TC. ► Frequency scan showed uniform film profile. ► Gd film thermal diffusivity was found to be smaller than the bulk one.
