Latitudinal variation of upper tropospheric NH3 on Saturn derived from Cassini/CIRS far-infrared measurements

► Cassini/CIRS far-infrared observations are used to study the distribution of NH3 on Saturn. ► Measurements from February 2005 to December 2010. ► Comparison using MIRMAP and COMPSIT observations. ► Generally little latitudinal dependence in UTLS, but broad maxima at ±25° latitudes. ► These maxima are attributed to condensation and/or photolytic processes.
