The phylogeny of yellow fever virus 17D vaccines

► We sequenced the full genome of different seed lots of the YFV vaccine used by Crucell. ► We created a phylogenetic tree based on yellow fever virus 17D full genome sequences. ► With this tree we add molecular information to the historical genealogy of YF vaccines. ► These sequence data provide a good survey to investigate the pathology of YFV. ► Sequence data should also be used for the surveillance of YFV vaccine production.
