Economic analysis for evidence-based policy-making on a national immunization program: A case of rotavirus vaccine in Thailand

► We conduct an economic analysis of 2-dose and 3-dose rotavirus vaccination in Thailand. ► At current market prices of the vaccines, they are not cost-effective based on a cost-effectiveness threshold at 1 GDP per capita per DALYs averted. ► In a societal perspective, they will be cost-effective at US$4.98 and US$3.32 per dose for 2-dose and 3-dose vaccines, respectively. ► In a provider perspective, the price per dose must be US$2.90 and US$1.93 for 2-dose and 3-dose vaccines, respectively.
