Assessment of safety and immunogenicity of two different lots of diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, hepatitis B and Haemophilus influenzae type b vaccine manufactured using small and large scale manufacturing process

► Hib vaccine manufactured in small or large scale were equally immunogenic and safe. ► Both vaccines provided adequate seroprotection in the target population. ► Neither immunological interference nor increased reactogenicity was observed. ► Scaled up vaccine can be easily incorporated in the routine immunization programme.
