Strong ion exchange in centrifugal partition extraction (SIX-CPE): Effect of partition cell design and dimensions on purification process efficiency

► An IP-CPE method was developed for the purification of sinalbin from white mustard seeds. ► IP-CPE process was compared with CPC columns of 200 mL and 5700 mL capacity. ► IP-CPE offers promising perspectives for the large-scale isolation of natural ionized products.
