Effect of annealing temperatures on the structural and optical properties of sol-gel processed nanocrystalline BiFeO3 thin films

► Structural and optical properties of nanocrystalline BiFeO3 thin film. ► Lattice parameters changes with increase in annealing temperature. ► Grain size increases with increase in annealing temperature. ► Atomic Force Microscopy reveals an increase in roughness with temperature. ► Two strong Photoluminescence emissions observed around 2.53 and 2.36 eV.
