Study of gas separation by the means of high-frequency membrane oscillations

• The study of free-molecular flow through the oscillating membrane has been conducted.
• The optimal amplitude of membrane oscillation was found.
• Approximate dependence of membrane conductivity on oscillation speed was constructed.
• Approximation equation allows to determine the optimal value of oscillation speed.
• Variation of the channel length does not increase efficiency of gas separation.

The study of a free-molecular flow through the membrane oscillating in its own plane has been conducted. Optimal values of membrane oscillation parameters for most efficient gas separation have been found.
