Restless legs syndrome (RLS) is a common disorder. Its prevalence is estimated about 8.5% of the French population. The news regarding the RLS concern its physiopathology (genetical aspects, implication of iron), its consequences (cognitive, cardiovascular risk) but also its treatment. European recommendations were recently published. The treatment of first intention is the dopaminergic agonists. However, it is important to limit the dose of these treatments in order to avoid various side effects, notably the augmentation syndrome augmentation syndrome.
