Clinical Update on Nursing Home Medicine: 2008

In 2007 we provided an overview of clinical advances in the nursing home based on a series of presentations at the American Medical Directors Association.1 This will now be a regular yearly series. Topics covered this year are nutrition, exercise, diabetes mellitus, lipids, hypertension, pressure ulcers, COPD, and osteoporosis.
