In the 1980's, it underwent a crisis that resulted in its exclusion from MEDLINE. Actas Dermo-Sifiliográficas gradually recovered under the management of Drs. Iglesias, Sánchez-Yus, Fernández- Herrera and Torrelo, and it has finally been included once again in the most consulted medical database in the world.
