Figures du clivage dans l'oubli : d'une amnésie rétrograde à la maladie d'Alzheimer

In psychiatry of elderly, the cleavage of the ego and of the object seems to be a major defence mechanism in Alzheimer patients, in order for the patient to protect himself from the traumatic violence of suffered loss, and from the psychic remodelling that they involve. In this context, the articulation of cleavage with trauma questions on a broader usage of this defence mechanism in other oblivion settings, especially in some cases of retrograde amnesia. Moreover, the transposition of this cleavage met in our clinical practices on the institutional and theoretical scene questions, this breakage seeming to occur often between soma partisans and psyche partisans, therefore preventing an integrated somatopsychic approach of the elderly.
