With aging, hallucinations are frequent, represented particularly by auditory and visual types. However, the prevalence of this symptom is underestimated, the identification of hallucinatory symptoms should require meticulous investigation. In this article, we report the case of a woman without psychiatric antecedent who present first at 82 years old, auditory hallucinations with a major intensity, with severe consequences in her daily life in order to highlight the semiological specificities of late-onset hallucinations, the different etiopathological hypothesis and the axis of therapeutic strategy.
