Perfil clínico e intervención en salud mental con mujeres supervivientes a abuso sexual infantil intrafamiliar (incesto)

Women with a history of incest in childhood may have serious mental health problems later in life, ranging from panic disorder to chronic depression. We observed a relationship between clinical symptoms, the stage of life in which these appear or increase its intensity, and the life events leading these women to ask for help. Therefore, treatment response may be more effective if the biological, psychological and social factors involved in the problem are approached using a multifocal approach.
