Multileaf Collimator-Based Linear Accelerator Radiosurgery: Five-Year Efficiency Analysis

Multileaf collimator-based linac radiosurgery can be delivered efficiently in <30 minutes in the vast majority of patients. Given the limited treatment room utilization required for stereotactic radiosurgery treatments, this study calls into question the need for a dedicated radiosurgery unit for even busy treatment centers.
