Wave exposure and hydrologic connectivity create diversity in habitat and zooplankton assemblages at nearshore Long Point Bay, Lake Erie

► Sampled for zooplankton, plants and water chemistry in a large wetland complex. ► Gradients of exposure were correlated with water chemistry and zooplankton. ► Sites clustered based on spatial location and degree of connectivity to the bay. ► Exposure and hydrologic connectivity have large effects on the zooplankton community.
