A high resolution study of spatial and temporal variability of natural and anthropogenic compounds in offshore Lake Superior sediments

► 10 multi-cores were recovered from a 4 km2 area in offshore Lake Superior. ► The stratigraphy, composition and sedimentation varied between cores. ► We quantify these differences and relate it to the complex lake floor morphology.
