High-pressure electrical resistivity, Mossbauer, thermal analysis, and micro-Raman spectroscopic investigations on microwave synthesized orthorhombic cubanite (CuFe2S3)

► Laboratory synthesis of the orthorhombic cubanite by microwave technique. ► Tetrahedral coordination of Fe (Fe2+ and Fe 3+) by Mössbauer parameter-isomer shift. ► Similarity with natural sample through high-pressure transition at 4.5 ± 0.2 GPa. ► Verification of orthorhombic structure by Differential thermal analysis and micro-Raman spectroscopic method.
