Geochemistry, geochronology, and Sr-Nd isotopes of the Late Neoproterozoic Wadi Kid volcano-sedimentary rocks, Southern Sinai, Egypt: Implications for tectonic setting and crustal evolution

► Kid Group in SE Sinai includes Um Zariq, Melhaq Heib and Tarr Formations. ► Um Zariq (647 to 813 Ma) may represent relicts of a Cryogenian sequence. ► Melhaq, Heib and Tarr Formations intruded by ~ 604 Ma alkali granite. ► Magamtic activities in the Kid area compare well with the Dokhan Volcanics. ► The positive εNd(t) values for Kid Group indicate a juvenile source magma.
