Thermo-hydro-mechanical model of the Canister Retrieval Test

► The paper presents a numerical simulation of the Canister Retrieval Test. ► The THM simulation was performed using the finite element program Code-Bright. ► A joint element was implemented for the simulation of interfaces. ► The formulation used is able to reproduce the phenomena involved in the test.
