A statistical approach to construct composite climate records of dated archives

► I propose a method to compose temporal overlapping dated climate archives. ► The method uses AR1 processes, MC simulation and cross correlations. ► The approach improves the age-depth relationship, reduces age errors and enlarges the signal to noise ratio.
