Testing a multi-step post-IR IRSL dating method using polymineral fine grains from Chinese loess

► MET-pIRIR dating using polymineral FG is tested on Chinese loess samples from the Luochuan section. ► FG MET-pIRIR ages of 200 and 250 °C are identical. ► They are consistent with the CG KF MET-pIRIR ages and the quartz OSL ages. ► The method is shown to work well for the Chinese loess within the last glacial-interglacial period.
