SHRIMP U-Pb ages of detrital zircons in metasedimentary rocks of the central Ogcheon fold-thrust belt, Korea: Evidence for tectonic assembly of Paleozoic sedimentary protoliths

► SHRIMP U-Pb ages of detrital zircons from the Ogcheon Metamorphic Belt, Korea. ► Protolith ages and distribution patterns of zircons define two lithotectonic packages. ► Tectonic affinities of these packages significantly differ from each other. ► They are compatible with those of South and North China cratons, respectively. ► The suturing of these allochthons is a product of Permo-Triassic continental collision.
