RETRACTED: Response of steel moment and braced frames subjected to near-source pulse-like ground motions by including soil-structure interaction effects

This article has been retracted at the request of the Editor-in-Chief. It has come to our attention that there is significant duplication of text and content between this Soil Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering article and an earlier paper by the same authors, "Response of Steel Moment and Braced Frames Subjected to Near-Source Pulse-Like Ground Motions by Including SoilStructure Interaction Effects" by Pooriya Ayough, Sara Mohamadi, Seyed Ali Haj Seiyed Taghia, Civil Engineering Journal (Vol. 3, No. 1, January, 2017, Page 15-34, http://civilejournal.org/index.php/cej/article/view/254/pdf. One of the conditions of submission of a paper for publication is that authors declare explicitly that the paper is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. The scientific community takes a very strong view on this matter and apologies are offered to readers of the journal that this was not detected during the submission process.
