On computation of soil vibrations due to moving train loads by 2.5D approach
چکیده انگلیسی
The 2.5D approach has great advantages in analysis of wave propagation problems over the 2D and 3D approaches [1,2], but care should be exerted for accuracy of the results computed. In this paper, focus is placed on selection of the ranges of key parameters, such as the spatial and temporal periods and frequency increment, for the Fourier transform by the 2.5D approach, using the finite/infinite element approach as an example, to ensure that the real behavior of the train-induced vibration, instead of the fictitious ones introduced by the periodic extension, is duly included in the Fourier transform.
