A novel hydrogen peroxide sensor based on hemoglobin immobilized PAn-SiO2/DTAB composite film

► PAn-SiO2 nanocomposite was prepared. ► A novel H2O2 sensor based on PAn-SiO2/DTAB film is developed for hemoglobin studied. ► The sensor shows good electrocatalytic responses to the reduction of H2O2. ► The electron transfer rate constant and Michaelis-Menten constant were evaluated.
