Atmospheric polychlorinated biphenyl (pcb) inputs to a coastal city near the marmara sea

► In this manuscript, we aimed to collect both dry and wet deposition samples. They were analyzed for PCBs. We modified a wet-dry deposition sampler (WDDS) for collection the samples. Moreover, we used a water surface sampler (WSS) which was widely used for collecting both dry -deposition and air-water exchange fluxes. Then we calculated the corresponding deposition velocities as well as mass transfer coefficients. We found very reasonable results. ► Our sampling took 1 year from June 2008 to June 2009. We collected good amount of data to reach conclusions. During the experiments, we closely followed the strict QA/QC approaches. Therefore, we believe our results will give some insights to the researchers from this region of the world.
