SELDI-TOF MS analysis of alkylphenol exposed Atlantic cod with phenotypic variation in gonadosomatic index

► A direct correlation between protein expression profiles and a phenotypic endpoint (GSI) was revealed in cod. ► An additional proteomic pattern specific for the alkylphenol exposed females was found. ► Our results support the usefulness of SELDI-TOF MS as a proteomic tool in ecotoxicological research.
