Mercury in blood and eggs of the sea turtle Lepidochelys olivacea from a nesting colony in Oaxaca, Mexico

► This work provides the first Hg study in blood and eggs of Lepidochelys olivacea. ► Higher Hg levels were found in yolk fraction. ► A negative correlation between body size and Hg in blood was found.
