The magma plumbing system of Bezymianny Volcano: Insights from a 54Â year time series of trace element whole-rock geochemistry and amphibole compositions

► Bezymianny volcano has been sampled with unprecedented temporal density. ► Major element, trace element, and amphibole compositions are measured. ► The erupted compositions are produced by mixing between three separate end members. ► Bimodal amphibole compositions reflect crystallization in two separate reservoirs. ► Bezymianny's plumbing system is more similar to Soufriere Hills than Mt St Helens.
