Geochronology, petrogenesis and tectonic implications of Triassic granitoids from Beishan, NW China

►Five Triassic granitic plutons are identified in the Beishan area, NW China. ►They are highly fractionated I-type with transitional features from I- to A-type. ►The magmas originated from a mixture of mantle- and crustal-derived sources. ►Fractional crystallization also contributed during the magmatism. ►These plutons were emplaced in a post-orogenic setting.
