Trace elements, U-Pb ages and Hf isotopes of zircons from Mesozoic granites in the western Nanling Range, South China: Implications for petrogenesis and W-Sn mineralization

► Two types of zircons are revealed: magmatic, late-magmatic hydrothermal. ► Late-magmatic hydrothermal zircons are related to the W-Sn mineralization. ► Partial melting of early Neoproterozoic arc materials during Mesozoic. ► New evidence for the southwestern extension of Neoproterozoic boundary between the Yangtze and Cathaysia Blocks.
