Single-grain zircon U-Pb age constraints of the western and eastern sanukitoid zones in the Finnish part of the Karelian Province

► SIMS U-Pb zircon ages of sanukitoids from Finnish Karelia indicate emplacement at ~ 2715 and 2745 Ma. ► Inherited zircon cores in more felsic sanukitoids show 207Pb/206Pb ages between ~ 3240 and 2750 Ma. ► Western and eastern sanukitoid zones in the Karelian Province show a ~ 20 Ma apparent age difference.
