Monitoring of N-methyl carbamate pesticide residues in water using hollow fibre supported liquid membrane and solid phase extraction

► Two extraction methods have been utilised for the extraction of N-methyl carbamates. ► Supported liquid membrane extraction method was developed and compared to the standard solid phase extraction. ► Some N-methyl carbamate compounds performed better with supported liquid membrane. ► The supported liquid membrane extraction method can thus be used as a routine extraction method for N-methyl carbamates.
