Experimental study on heterogeneous slope responses to drawdown

► We made four soil slope models with different structures. ► We also did three testing schemes with different drawdown rates. ► Some partial failures were observed along the surface of each slope model. ► The pore water pressure was measured using the piezometer tubes. ► The factors affecting the pore water pressure was discussed.
