Promotion of CeO2-TiO2 photoactivity by g-C3N4: Ultraviolet and visible light elimination of toluene

- Promoting of CeO2-TiO2 photo-activity by addition of g-C3N4.
- Maximum quantum yield observed with a 1 wt% g-C3N4 under both UV and sunlight.
- Positive effect on recombination is observed irrespective of carbon nitride content.
- The optimum performance occurs as a trade-off phenomenon.
