Expression of a novel feruloyl esterase from Aspergillus oryzae in Pichia pastoris with esterification activity

- A recombinant A. oryzae feruloyl esterase, re-AoFaeA, was characterized.
- The esterification yield of ferulic acid with glycerol by re-AoFaeA reached 60.3%.
