Algorithmes de prise en charge du patient souffrant de dysfonction érectile

Since the last time these recommendations were updated, new data has been validated by the literature, already suggested by clinical observation, and now reaching consensus. This data offers all practitioners a solution for treatment that is both simple but also better designed and better adapted to patients suffering from Erectile Dysfunction (ED). Several points appear to be crucial for the success of treatment for such patients, and were developed in the full version of our guidelines, and we are summarizing them here as a treatment algorithm. This takes account of all the various components of the clinical approach to a patient suffering from ED; how to assess the different parameters at play in each situation, how to determine one's own field of competence in the face of this problem, knowing what to prescribe and what support to provide alongside the prescription, following up the patient, analysing any potential failings and directing the patient to a care network where appropriate. All these questions find answers in our article, along with a summary of the different stages of the algorithm.
