The nanoparticle-mediated cryosurgery is delivering nanoparticles with favorable physical and/or chemical properties into target tissues during cryosurgery. The superior characteristics of nano-cryosurgery compared to normal cryosurgery include lowered end temperature, thermal protect of healthy tissue, enlarged ice crystal formation, better image, and enhanced cryosurgery.238
