The results support a factorial solution of two factors, namely present anxiety and well-being. This solution provides adequate index of fit and optimum internal consistency. On the other hand, validity analyses through group comparison allowed us to confirm that the scale adequately distinguishes between general and psychiatric populations. Finally, there are strong correlations between anxiety and depression levels.
