Comment meurent les personnes handicapées ? Contextes de fin d'existence et conditions de décès des adultes handicapés

The context and conditions of the death of people with disabilities are evolving but are still poorly understood. The article presents the results of a thorough survey carried out in a French region on the last part of the existence of adults with disabilities supported by institutions. This raises many questions for those with intellectual disabilities, such as the quality of their end-of-life experience and the still weak cooperation between their carers and palliative care teams.
