Microspheres aided introduction of ionophore and ion-exchanger to the ion-selective membrane

► Ionophore and ion-exchanger loaded microspheres were introduced to ion-selective membranes. ► Microspheres can be optionally loaded with primary ions yielding those ions saturated membranes. ► HPLC based method was used for quantification of ionophore and ion-exchanger.
