Disfunción sexual: repercusión en la pareja, envejecimiento e implicaciones en atención primaria

This review work, enables us to conclude that sexuality forms an integral part of health. Therefore SD, in its different forms, affects the health and wellbeing of the patient as well as that of the partner. The role Primary Care plays is basically in the detection, diagnosis and eventual treatment of this group of disorders, in both females and males. Communication, that is to say, to investigate and question, is fundamental, with Primary Care being the ideal place for all this. Finally, age is not a limitation to enjoy full sex, again Primary Care being particularly placed to undestand it and manage it, due to its links with Geriatrics and Sexual Medicine.
