Ophthalmologic monitoring including funduscopy, should be recommended at least once a year. Visual field seems to become interesting in the screening. Electroretinogram and electro-oculogram remain useful quantitative and obvious tests. A prospective study to assess the optimal way to prevent retinal intoxication is mandatory.
