Analyse fonctionnelle d'un cas d'anxiété de séparation: apports et limites d'une intervention in situ

Separation anxiety is considered as a normal element of a infant's development. Nevertheless, when it prevents the subject from functioning normally, separation anxiety is considered as a disorder. A case study is presented: after functional analysis was carried-out, a behavioral intervention was proposed to the mother of a 24 month-old girl. The purpose of this intervention was to promote harmonious separation of the mother and her daughter. The results are discussed according to behavioral and cognitive theories.
