Intérêt du programme de psychoéducation insight dans le traitement d'une dépression chez un patient souffrant de schizophrénie : étude de cas

Within the frame of the treatment of patients with schizophrenia, several methods of cognitive and behavioral therapy can be offered in addition to drug therapy. For instance, the insight psychoeducational program was recently developed with the aim of promoting the therapeutic alliance and the compliance to treatment in patients with schizophrenia. Moreover, beyond the benefits for which it was designed, this type of program could also prove itself interesting by fitting in wider treatment programs and by articulating itself on other tools. We present here a case report of a patient for which the insight program became “a gate” to a treatment program centered on the topic of schizophrenia and whose most blatant benefit is to improve the over added depressive symptomatology.
