Demencia y fractura de fémur

Hip fracture was associated with considerable mortality and dependency. Dementia was a factor predicting poor prognosis, increasing the mortality rate associated with hip fracture. Further studies are required to determine the influence of concomitant diseases on mortality in patients with hip fracture.
