Processus traumatique dans la période de latence, exil de la tendresse

RésuméCet article propose une élaboration théorique sur les impacts psychiques spécifiques à des abus sexuels vécus pendant la période de latence. Durant cette période post-œdipienne, l’enfant cultive ses capacités élaboratives et théorisantes sur le monde. Avec l’aide de ses proches, d’un environnement tendre, il y développe ses fantaisies et ses fantasmes en parallèle des réaménagements identitaires, idéaux et identificatoires imposés par l’interdit œdipien. Se met ainsi en place un jeu psychique au service d’une quête d’objets d’amour de substitution, d’un projet pour plus tard ; quête rendue problématique par la fixation à l’objet/agresseur et la scène subie. L’abus sexuel incestueux, par la confusion qu’il provoque et l’attaque du lien intersubjectif portée par le déni de la mère, a un effet destructeur sur le sentiment de continuité d’existence de l’enfant et les fondements du penser et du rêve. L’environnement, nécessaire à la construction du sujet et son sentiment de continuité d’existence devient agresseur en plus d’être défaillant. Nous proposons d’illustrer, à l’aide d’une vignette clinique, comment est figé ce jeu psychique propre à la période de latence, propulsant le sujet dans une latence traumatique. Néanmoins, la psychothérapie psychanalytique peut, par son espace contenant et le jeu transférentiel qui y est travaillé, proposer une reprise du jeu psychique et une possibilité de déplacement libidinal vers d’autres objets.

This article will propose a theoretical elaboration of the psychic impacts specific to sexual abuses lived during the latency period. During this period, the child develops his fantasies and reorganizes the way his identifications and ideals are set. With the help of his family and a tender environment, he develops his fantasies, in parallel with reworking his identity which imposed by the oedipal interdiction. A psychic play is thus put into place in the quest for substitute love objects, a project later to come. Clinical analysis of incest during the latency period shows us that such a quest is made difficult and problematic because of the fixation to the aggressor/object and the suffered scene The confusion provoked by the incestual abuse and the attack of the intersubjective link brought by the denial of the mother has a destructive effect on the feeling of the continuity of existence of the child and the foundations of thought and dream. The environment necessary to the construction of the subject is thus aggressive and defective. Using a clinical case we seek to illustrate how this psychic play which is proper to the latency period, is fixed and propels the subject into traumatic latency. Nevertheless, psychoanalytical psychotherapy by its holding space and transference dynamics, can propose a resumption of the psychic play and the possibility of a libidinal shift toward other objects.
