Electrochemical actuator based on polypyrrole/sulfonated graphene/graphene tri-layer film

► Actuator based on polypyrrole (PPy)/graphene composite film was fabricated. ► The actuator exhibits fast and large actuations with low energy consuming. ► The actuator has a lifetime 2.5 times that of conventional PPy/Au actuator.
