Magnetron sputtered tungsten oxide films activated by dip-coated platinum for ppm-level hydrogen detection

► Pt-WO3 films based H2 sensors were prepared by sputtering and dip-coating. ► Unstable resistance signal was observed in the first of H2 measurements. ► Reconditioning period was eliminated by a thermal treatment at 450 °C for 24 h.
